World Pool to sponsor the Best Turned Out Yard at the Henry Cecil Open Weekend

Monday 26th August 2024 – For the second consecutive year, World Pool will sponsor the Best Turned Out Yard competition at the Henry Cecil Open Weekend, 21-22 September.

Some of racing’s most successful and historic stables will swing open their doors to the general public and compete to be named World Pool Best Turned Out Yard.

Three separate prizes are on offer, one each for small, medium and large sized yards.

This year, we’re splitting up the Best Turned Out Yard awards into three categories – small, medium and large – to make sure everyone has a fair crack at winning.

“Funds raised this year are predominantly supporting the Newmarket Housing Trust, a project led by the Newmarket Trainers Group, which is vital for creating a portfolio of accommodation for racing staff. By buying a ticket, you’re contributing to the development of much needed accommodation for racing staff who are the backbone of the racing industry, and you’ll also have a brilliant time!”
